Warm Ups

I have decided to do little digital warm ups each day (when I am not too busy)..
I have been playing a lot with digital brushes trying to find a tad bit of texture that still allows my pieces to be clean.. I am testing for the Turtle and the Hare illos...

These are the last two days and I used two different textures.
Not bad for test illos...

I will be posting them at my main blog
www;pinkpencil.blogspot.com

So add it to your bloglines list!

What is your process?

And how is the book coming?

The book is done and going through a final edit before being shipped via FTP to the Printer in Japan.

My digital process is basically...

Scan a loose sketch - Layer 1
Choose a brush for line - Layer 3
Choose another brush for color - Layer 2

That is the basic idea anyways.....
The book is done in Cut paper... I am not yet allowed to post images of that...

Do you use a mouse? Or a tablet?

Who are you sending your book to?

tablet... Can't live without it!

The book is being sent to the publisher and then on to the print house... I don't get into the details of the print house... It will be released in Spring of 09...
